A few months ago, I came across a streamer on twitch making a game, and like many things’ curiosity got the better of me and I thought I would check it out. Now normally I am not big into 2D style games except for old school RuneScape. Because of this, I did not really think I would stick around long and would forget about it. I decided instead to try it out and I have to say while the game is still in development and has an actual playable version it is fun to play.
the most about it is the fact it is still in development and for the developer to be highly active and willing to show us a bit of the development that goes on in making this game. Now of course you will find bugs here and there. but then again what game does not have bugs? even triple A titles have some pretty interesting bugs.
What I like about the game
What I like about this game is that there is crafting and not just some kind of hack and slash game and that you can explore and do dungeons with other players. You can also do quests which is fun as they can sometimes be a challenge, I also like the fact this game has a skill system. so I can cook things such as food before a boss fight or even make potions. While I wonder what else this game has coming to it soon it is a good start
What I don’t like about the game
Only things I do not personally care for is that you cannot flee from battles which kind of is annoying when your HP gets low you must die or kill the enemy which most of the time is not bad except for when you are trying to run away from somewhere and having a random battle appear because a monster decided it wanted to fight you. I also find it a little annoying is when level 1 monsters will engage in combat with you when you are level 5+ for example.
Closing notes
Other than these little personal things I do not like about the game it is still an incredibly fun and decent game and I am curious what else the developer has planned for this game. I would suggest checking it out if you are a fan of medieval or RPG games like myself. I would highly suggest checking this game out! Quick update
Upon making this post the developer of the game has told me that the ability to flee from combat is actually a feature in development 😀 super hyped for this!
